Pearl  
 
The Village of Pearl once known a Pearl Station, surveyed in September 1872 is located along the Illinois River in the southeast corner of the county.  The village was incorporated in 1881.
 
Pearl has three major transportation arteries: Route 100, The Kansas City Southern Railway and the Illinois River.
 
Pearl also is the home of the Twin Culverts.  They were featured on our annual postcard in 1993.
   
Commodities: Towels, Etc., Wood Crafts, and more Crafts; Pampered Chef, Fire Coffee.
   
Food: Catfish Sandwiches, Chicken & Noodles, Chili, Jams & Jellies. Kettle Korn ,coffee and donuts.  Funnel Cakes, Pies and cookies.  Delicious produce like, Apples, Pumpkins, Apple Cider, Apple Butter & much more. 
   
Activities: Annual Post Cards, the eighteenth in a series. Copies of the 100th Year Pearl Tribute Newspaper done in 1981 will be for sale. Live Music - Fiddle and Guitar.
