Summer Hill Site # 1
 
Commodities: The Friendly residents of (Down Town) Summer Hill offer a wide variety of foods, an Antique Store, and collectibles. 

The late 1800's General Store is the home of the antique mall. It offers a very comfortable, country atmosphere with a variety of "stuff" from furniture and stoneware to depression glass, elegant glass, tools, traps, jewelry, advertising and much more. There will be samples of jellies, salsa, etc. from Galena, Ill. It is also time for homemade turtles and peanut brittle.

 
Food: Foods include the "Taste of Orient" chicken kabobs, crab ragoon, egg rolls , fried rice and much more. Tenderloins, walking taco, pickle on a stick, biscuit and gravy, home baked goods, Brats and much more. See you there.
 
Activities: The Park is the site of the Sam Hays GAR Post Civil War Monument honoring the ninety ninth regiment. There will be some information on the statue and other bits and pieces of local history and as always many yard sales and food vendors so come shop, visit, eat and enjoy. We will all be happy to see you!

Summer Hill Site # 2 - Hopewell Winery
Hopewell Winery will be open during both Saturday and Sunday of the Color Drive; from 9am to 6pm Saturday and from Noon to 6pm Sunday.

Located 1/2 mile west of Summer Hill on Highway 54, Hopewell is a winery that caters to novice and experienced wine drinkers alike. Quality wine, breathtaking scenery, and entertaining people are the building blocks of the winery. Hopewell Winery currently boasts nine wines, with more wine available in the near future, and a selection of microbrew beer. The Winery is set back from the highway and protected by a couple rows of tall oak trees. A long porch attached to the winery is perfect for seating. The porch over looks a beautiful large green yard that can provide additional table seating or picnic blankets. With this floral landscape, visitors will be at complete ease and drink in the day.
