Historical InterestsCivil war display of Edwin McAllister who shared his birthday with Abe Lincoln (same day) Feb. 12th.  He was the oldest living Civil War Veteran living in Pike County. He lived to be 102 yrs. old.  He spoke in the school system about the Civil War system even when he was very old.  The Civil War flag he donated is on display at the Pike County Court House in Pittsfield, Il.
