Welcome to the 20th Annual Pike County Color Drive. We have over 24 participating sites on the Drive this year. All stops have a Welcome Booth to get up-to-date information and stamp your brochure. We invite you to tune to our local radio station, WBBA 97.5 FM, where the local Rotary club broadcasts live with roving reporters who give you up to the minute information from throughout Pike County. The following listing highlights just some of the various demonstrations and vendors in each town. Our participating towns have great food selections including: pork, chicken and noodles, baked goods, hot dogs, BBQ,
chili, and drinks.
Griggsville Skinner House
History is on display here, with a Tea Pot Collection, and tours of the Skinner House. Chicken and Noodles, Apple Dumplings will be served Saturday only.
Griggsville
New location - the Western Illinois Fairgrounds. Food galore! Browse through the stands offering candles, turquoise jewelry, face painting, wood working, crochet items, porcelain dolls, and more. Pony rides, pony and carts rides, Llamas doing an obstacle course, antique tractors, and large flea market.
Hull Site #1
At the junction of 106 & 96, the Hull Community Church has homemade potato chips and baked goods, pies, ham & beans, white elephant sale, candies, organic food, crafts, Watkins products and Geode cracking (bring your own or buy one) and more.
The Rail Splitter Inn (Uptown) will have Flea Market, and crafts, hunting items, knives and more. Enjoy ice cream and fried chicken and more.
Kinderhook
Soups, sandwiches, and pies available. Museum will be open. Saturday 11 am -1 pm. Lunch at the Kinderhook Museum. Stop by the Bank for Cider and Cookies. Yard sales throughout the town. Ackles Farm Market has been located in New Hartford since 1967. Unique specialty items Amish chocolate, bulk candy, pickles, salsas, apple butter, farm fresh eggs, Wisconsin cheese and fresh vegetables. Bring the kids and let them visit our Castle and Straw Maze.
New Salem

The first town as you enter Pike County on Rt 100 will have towels, wood crafts, and their 16th Annual Collectible post card. Fall produce, pecans, walnuts, and fish sandwiches. Perry
At the Perry Fire House you can shop (rain or shine) for candles, Christmas crafts, stoneware pottery, handmade duck decoys, painted turkey feathers, hand painted ornaments and much more. Gen Grant will ride into Perry at 11 a.m. on

Food, Fall produce, crafts and collectibles items, Bill Beard sketching, Abe Lincoln will arrive by horse drawn carriage at 2 pm on
Saturday and introduce former Congressman Paul Findley of Pittsfield and our current Congressman Ray LaHood who will speak briefly.
*Pleasant Hill
Located at the Pike County Fair grounds: Craft vendors include hand made wood items, knitted sweaters, t-shirts, Longaberger baskets, jewelry, art glass, basket weaver, sweatshirts and more. Food from hamburgers to chicken livers and gizzards, funnel cakes, mini donuts, and much more. On Sunday attend the Car show & see the basket weaver.
*Summer Hill
Downtown Summer Hill has a wide variety of foods; taste of Orient, Tenderloins, walking tacos, biscuits and gravy and much more . Late 1800’s General Store now houses an antique mall. Lots of collectibles, large garage sale, Post GAR Civil War Memorial Statue and Home of the Clark 54 Drive In. Kozy Katz Antique Mall West of Summer Hill antiques and collectibles, outdoor flea market, food and more. Hopewell Winery is located one half mile west of Summer Hill, open on Saturday only.
